安土城

安土城（あづちじょう）は、近江国（現在の滋賀県）東部の安土山にあった日本の城である[ 2 ]。1576年から1579年にかけて、有力な武将である織田信長によって築城された[ 2 ][ 4 ]。

この城は、その壮大な規模と革新的な設計で知られ、当時日本で最も高い天守の一つを誇っていました[ 2 ][ 4 ]。

残念なことに、城は1582年に信長が亡くなった直後に破壊され、現在は遺跡のみが残っています[ 2 ][ 3 ]。

この遺跡は現在では人気の観光地となっており、日本政府により特別史跡に指定されている[ 3 ]。

The castle was known for its grand scale and innovative design, featuring one of the tallest keeps (tenshu) in Japan at the time [2][4].

Unfortunately, the castle was destroyed shortly after Nobunaga's death in 1582 and only ruins remain today [2][3].

The site is now a popular tourist destination and has been designated a Special Historical Site by the Japanese government [3].
